CashLens is built around a simple rule: your money data stays on your device. This policy explains what the app stores, what it does not collect, and when Apple systems may be involved.
We do not run analytics, advertising, or crash-reporting SDKs. We do not create accounts, operate CashLens servers, or sync your expenses to the cloud. We do not sell or share your financial data.
Information you enter—expenses, budgets, categories, subscriptions, receipts, preferences, and similar content—is stored locally on your iPhone or iPad (including secure on-device storage and, when you use Home Screen widgets or related Apple features, the shared App Group container on that same device).
There is no CashLens cloud copy of your data. If you delete the app without exporting first, that local data can be lost permanently.
CashLens itself does not send your expense data to our servers. The only network activity from the app comes from Apple frameworks you use—mainly the App Store / StoreKit for purchases, restores, and subscriptions—and from web links you open yourself (such as this policy).
Apple’s handling of App Store purchases and related account data is governed by Apple’s Privacy Policy.
Your data belongs to you. You can export it from the app, turn optional features off, or delete the app to remove local data. Because we do not hold a server-side copy, there is nothing for us to delete remotely.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last updated” date.
